How old?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone had guinea pigs that have exceeded their expected years. The oldest I have had was when I was 15, 2 female sisters who lived to 8.

Well i know the age expectancy of guinea pigs is 5-8 years so your girls did well, although none of my pigs have yet passed on, i think i've heard of a few living slightly longer but not much, 8 seems to be a good innings for a piggy (:

We had a lone piggy (years ago before I knew any better) called Barney-he looked like a little badger and he lived until he was 8 with no health problems.
