One of my piggies is a long hair. I brush her regularly and try and trim any matts or knots. But the hair grows so quickly I seem to be forever trimming it.

I'd like to give her a bigger trim, so it lasts longer and she doesn't have to go through trims every week.
How short is too short though? If I leave it say 1 inch long would that be ok?

Thanks

Are you indoors? I would say longer hair would be good for keeping war outdoors. However, if she is indoors and warm I can't see any problem with inch long hair?

Here's a couple of pics. She's indoors, on fleece, with cuddle cups! So she shouldn't be cold. The hair round her head is ok, it's from the back down that's long and thick.

Sorry the pics aren't great. The longest bits are about 2 inch long. It's just so thick round her rear, I need to try and get it thinner/shorter.
