how the piggles are getting on...

hey guys...

this is the new thread about how my piggies are getting on...

had the other post deleted just so it doesnt affect any future actions i may take...

please dont comment or quote anything off the old thread...

Just to re-inforce this new thread...

As some of you know, Clare's piggies have had "a problem" and are currently in intensive care. She has agreed to have the previous thread deleted in view of some of its contents as it "could" affect both her situation and also that of the forum in general.

This new thread is to update you on her piggies progress..and we are all keeping fingers and paws crossed for her and her 6 piggies....I can assure you that they are ALL receiving the best possible care.

Please do NOT post anything that references any information regarding her piggies that was referred to on the other thread...otherwise it will have to be deleted.

I really hope they continue to do well. They are in good hands. Keeping everything crossed for them.
 
i took a few photos of them whilst i was waiting for them to sort out the kennels for them...
so just thought i'd post them...
poor little mites...
i'll phone in the morning and i'll let you all know how they are getting on...

they had all been sat in only the bottom half of the boxes for about 15 mins as they were all being looked over and not one tryed to make a break for it... they were that lathargic... they just lay there in the boxes...:0
I'm going to try and get some sleep now... not sure how likely that is...

update time...

all piggles are eating small amounts appart from scratch...
all are passing good poos...
the blood in urine is less servere than it was.... now is a pink tinge...
all of them are taking the fluids and critical care well...
they will be kept in for another 24hours definatly... then i might be able to take some of them home... and keep them on the sub- cut fluids and critical care...
no one is in pain or discomfort...

hopefully tomorow i might be able to take the boys home...

Glad to hear there seems to be some improvement. Hope they can all come home soon.
 
Poor piggles - fingers crossed for them all....what is wrong with them, if you don't mind me asking?
 
update time...

all piggies are getting brighter and responsive...

they are having fluid in their skin every 6 hours... being fed the critical care and liquid...
all pooing and weeing well...

blood still in the urine of nuzzle, scratch, Cleo and Oliver...
but all doing well and they are all taking the bio-lapis well...

I dont know anything but i really hope your piggies are starting to feel better and are all on the mend. I hope they are all going to be ok. Lots of love from my herd sent your way.

she also said... that they were all having bio-lapis... although the boys are beign a pain with it... and playing them up... :')

This really is such positive news.. considering how critical they were on sunday. So Hoorah!

I know they;re not out of the woods yet..and fingers and paws all still crossed here...but it looks like you took action in the nick of time. All credit to you, your dad, and the vet.

Hope you;re holding up OK...the "waiting for news" must be pretty carp.

PS....Ahem....you know what I'm going to say Hun....... I'm afraid it would be unwise to say anything in public ;) except, perhaps, the following by way of explanation:

"Clare's whole herd developed a life-threatening problem on saturday ....and were it not for the prompt actions of the above mentioned three people (and a few other members on the forum here with their advice)...we might all be posting on Rainbow Bridge tonight. Hopefully the crisis is past...and recovery is now happening....but Clare will not know for at least another 24 hours.
