Hi everyone :)

Haven't been on here for a fair old while, have been dealing with Mags getting repeated respiratory infections over the last year or so, however she now seems to be having problems with her teeth and has lost a fair amount of weight quite quickly.

I've been syringing critical care food every few hours to stabilise her weight, as well as giving her any fresh food she can manage and readi-grass and timothy hay, my vet has also given me painkillers, as well as antibiotics and Epi-otic as he has noticed that her ears are very waxy. However, he didn't explain (and unusually for our vets, I was pushed along quite quickly as the surgery was very busy so I didn't get the chance to ask) how to administer, and how often?

If anyone has any advice I'd be really grateful, she's going back to the vets on Monday to have her teeth looked at/sorted out and I'd like to get her as well as possible, she's coming up for 6 and I'm very concerned that it'll finish her off if I don't do my best to get her as healthy as I can!

Hi, I agree with Helen. I would call your vet practice so they can tell you what to do. Its usually used once a day but your vet may want it done more than that if there is a lot of wax, so best to check with them. Hope all goes well for her at the vets :)
