How to bulk up a poorly peegy

Hi everyone,

I took Pea-Chuz to the verts this morning as she wasnt looking right and he has diagnosed an upper respiratory infection. She is now inside with her friend Pie :) I have caught it early and she now has antibios so she has a good chance of surviving but she is so little and doesnt have much weigh on her, is there anything in particular that is good for bulking up tiny peegs that dont want to eat ?

Any ideas will be much appreciated ! Off to change her tiny hot water bottle now and another cuddle ! Very spoilt :))

Foods with more calories in, will bulk him up a bit. Such as sweetcorn, chantany carrots (the little ones), peas etc. He may not like them all mind! Go for calories in the veg and some extra dried food.
Also if he does not want to eat these foods you could try mixing them with warm water and syringe feeding them to him! :) x good luck! let me know
 
i tried to switch them to a pellet diet but they didnt like it :P so they have half and half :)

thank you for your advice but unfortunatly when i got in from work she went down hill so quickly i rushed her to the vets to have her put to sleep, was the best thing for her

having lots of special cuddles and treats for her hutch mate tonight, she is sad :( but she lost her sister a year ago friday, she is a touch cookie
