So my dog started gagging on something today, and I did the doggy heimlich on her to get out a piece of root ball she had ate when we were hanging out outside. This got me thinking, is there any way to do the heimlich/ CPR on guinea pigs? My late piggy Peanut once choked on a piece of carrot, and I picked her up and slammed her back into my stomach, and that got the piece of carrot to come out.
 
It's not something I can advise on as I haven't seen it done, but it certainly sounds like you did the right thing for your piggy.
