Dental How To Encourage Gp To Eat Veg After Dental Surgery?

Thanks. our local vet got rid of spurs that she said were pinching her tongue, plus shaved the incisors (only one of them had overgrown, Stormy must've been eating on one side), and then when referred to the specialist he shaved the molars some more, and removed the bottom incisors as they were loose and gum red/swollen.(he said today it's healed all fine).... maybe Simon would see other problems.... she definitely either looks uncomfortable this evening or else just dopey from the meds...
Did Simon do that under GA?

Ah ok thanks. I will definitely look into this, then. I want to do all I can, I would never forgive myself if I didn't.

So I would just call the main number and ask to book a dental with Simon Maddock for guinea pig?

we rang up the place, and they advised us to send an email with the details. Simon phoned us back the following day, we discussed the problem and booked an appointment right away. I suggest you give them a call tomorrow.

Thanks, I'll do that. I see there's a link to send details online so I'll do that right now in fact. I feel a little more hopeful. I did really want to trust the exotics specialist we've seen, fingers crossed there is something they've missed though.

well, we saw 4 or 5 exotics specialists who couldn't help!..

Let us know how you get on. Given Simon's experience he most definitely is the best guy to see for a 2nd opinion. Hope he can help get your little one eating again. Good Luck!

TEAS is a dental sanctuary that uses Simon for all the dental work on the piggies, but we aren't affiliated in any way. You will need to contact Cat and Rabbit Clinic on 01604 478888 www.catandrabbit.co.uk

The first appointment is the most expensive as you pay the consult and dental charge, but I am pretty sure you only pay the £48 for subsequent appointments.

Thank you so much! It looks like there is a bus though, we're used to travelling on public transport, living in London! The trip to the exotics vet is an hour in itself on two trains & a tram!

I'm not liking the look of Stormy this morning, there doesn't seem to have been any poos overnight nor any today yet since 6am, and she's sat looking dopey and I've noticed her left eye is squinting, we noticed it last night too. Did get about 11ml of mush down her this morning though (and meds of course).

Just booked an appointment for tomorrow with Simon's wife Kim, any good feedback about her? Simon is only free in the evening, or late morning Fri and I figured get there ASAP.

Thanks! How do you pay for the bus, just hand over cash? (here in London you have to have a card!)

Kim is a diagnostic genius, you're in very safe hands with her :)

Thanks so much for the offer! I should be fine, but is there a way of private messaging phone numbers just in case though?

I've now booked an appointment for 4:40pm today, I couldn't bear to wait another night, I will just have to travel back in the evening and hope transport all ok! She's not looking happy today at all, just sat there with squinty eyes looking miserable or in pain, and not many poos since last night. Getting worried :(

That's a funny coincidence! Thank you so much, it'll be nice to see a friendly face! :)
