Sometimes I give them them whole so that the can play about with them - I might give them a couple during the day. If I'm putting them in their veg bowl with everything else then I quarter them.
oh good! I am glad I found this because I just picked up some cherry tomatoes earlier today...I'm gonna try different combinations and hope she will even eat them!
I buy nibble sticks, and they are attatched onto the hutch bars by a little hook. So when my boys have demolished their nibble bar, I take the stick and stick a few cherry tomatoes throught it. I'll take some pigtures soon
Rea I read that 2 about not feeding them tomatoes but I think its only not to feed them too much rather than not at all as with anything acidic.. I also tend to cut them up and leave the juice and seeds out.
I think they are only bad if fed in excess, and I have never had a problem with the seeds, however they do get irritated if there is too much juice, because it gets all over their chests and they struggle to get it off!
