After a regular check at the vets yesterday, we've been advised to give half a capsule of Cystophan each day. Can someone tell me the easiest way to get it into a sometimes cooperative pig? She does love her twice daily Frusol, unless it's a new syringe in which case it's poison.

I did buy the Piggie Pellets for urinary issues a while back, but she's not really fussed by them. Helpful as always!

If it's a powder in a capsule like Cystease (I've not heard of Cystophan) mix it with water and syringe feed it. With Cystease I emptied the capsule (they pull apart in the middle) in a small clean medicine bottle added 2 mls of water, gave it a good shake and gave 1ml to piggy. The remaining 1ml keeps in the fridge for the next day.

Only 2 out of 6 would eat the Piggy Parcels pellets, she is not alone!
