how to help GP that's lost his mate

Hi all

Sadly one of my piggies passed away this morning. I'd separated them on the instructions of the vet so they spent last night apart. I've got Ernie out with the children in the front room so I can disinfect his cage (Eric had pneumonia) and he's clearly looking for his friend. He's not used to being on his own and wondered if anyone has any advice how to get him through this?

Hi Lisa,

Very sad to hear of your loss, I know at the moment you probably won't feel like getting another pig but Ernie will benefit from having a new friend.

Perhaps take him to a rescue for a spot of boar dating. Were abouts are you?

Please be sure to make sure he is eating and acting like his usual self.
