how to i become friends with my gps?

hi everyone, i just felt like introducing myself lol. i havnt got any guinea pigs yet but i am getting some after my bday (15 sept) so soonish, i have a c&c cage and me and my dad are building a run for them, but the run has been completely taken other by my chickens! as soon as we left the concrete to dry they swept anythink they could find on top of it (even a poor little worn who is now stuck in the concrete ) I was just wontering if any one had brill advise on were to get my guinea pigs coes i dont know what rescue centures will say, i have three siblings 5, 6 and 14 ( I'm not so woried about the 14 year old lol) and a new sibling on the way! I also want to know the best way of becoming mates wid my gps and introducing them to the family without scaring them to death. But the cage will be locked in my room so no little kids can sneak in .and dont worry about my chickens they are having a new run somewhere els so they cant get their beaks anywhere near them!
