how to perswade .... i wanna a piggy

{:|i want to know how can i perswad my mother to let me get anouther piggy i have brought a really large pack and would like to extend the pack from 3 to 4 adding a sow to them i know it would be fine and i could look after anouther but my mum isnt to kee on the idea wht do do? btw i have 1 netured male and 2 happy sows
 
You have a nice group there. I would leave it. If you introduce another one and they do not get on they could all fall out. Enjoy your three lovely piggies.:)
 
i'd say mother knows best haha, i wan't more but i know it's just not a sensible idea, i'm sure if you talk to her she'll explain why thats what i did with my mum haha (:
 
Can you afford any vet care they may need though? It will be your parents who have to pay for that.
 
I'd say stick with who you have, it's the best thing to do, i used to think the same way you do but honestly it's not a good move... you can make up all the excuses and reasons as why you need or want one but the fact of the matter is when your young its easier to have smaller numbers and wait till you've grown up and move out, I'm waiting on till i leave home till i get any more additions.
 
whoops it sounds like I'm really little when i say mum but i have had lots of pets before and i no what I'm capable of i m not gonna say my age due to safety ( not that any of youu are nasty or anything ) but I'm old enough to decide
 
I'm 16 (old enough to decide) but its not YOUR house without sounding horrible its your mums decision in the end when you move out you can have as many as you want but while your under her roof you should live by her rules.
 
i suppose but my dad and everyone else in my family ( exept for my mum ) are really keeen on the idea and she has no reson why when i ask exept "because" and thats not relly an anwser
 
I'm sure she has her reasons, just be happy with what you have, like someone mentioned adding another piggy could upset what you have. and then you'd ruin the whole group.

How frustrating for you. I agree just "because" is not really a reason but unfortunately sometimes parents just won't give a sensible answer. The problem is that if you say too much on the subject they just assume it's all to do with you being a "teenager" so you must be wrong and difficult. mallethead

It's probably best to give up on the idea for now and try again in a year or so's time.
 
I'd say leave it for a little while (a month or more) and if you still really want one try again by asking her one day in a non pestering way.
 
you no what i think i will... i dont see why they dont want me to have one a use my money to contribute towards there need we getfree hay for them from a guy dwn our lane and i am the only one who looks after them and they our being cuddled for at least an hour a dy... i guees you win some and you lose somexx>>>
