How To Remove Boar Glue?

I checked on my boys today to find that poor Sage has lots of dried boar glue on his back.

It's absolutely solid! How do I get it off?

There isn't any way I have found to remove it. Sorry. Maybe try letting the hair grow out or trimming it off. I was lucky as Alby is longer haired so I trimmed his boar glue off. ;(

I have a shorthair boy whose cage mate got boar glue all over. I first softened it with Cetaphil & combed out as much as I could with a baby fine tooth comb, then cut the hair off.

Unfortunately the best way is just to cut it out carefully x
