How to teach pigs to use a water bottle?

Hi everyone!
My 2 rescue girls have always had a bowl of water since I got them as it was obvious they’d never had a bottle before.
They keep spilling it and wasting all the expensive bedding around it so I’ve bought a bottle in the hope they can learn, have you any advice on how to transition them from
Bowl to bottle?

I found that all of mine just worked it out themselves.
I put the bottle in the same area their bowl had been and made sure there was a drop of water hanging off the spout, so as soon as they came over to investigate they realised what it was.
Just be warned that diffrent piggies have different drinking styles, and some seem to be chewing the spout and create a huge din (that would be you Eddi), while others are quiet and delicate sippers (Ruby).

Yes my past piggies were a little noisey with theirs!

Mary has one and she likes to chew drink hers too
I recon these two girlies will be delicate little flowers

It is a case of hoping they investigate and then realise... Ours can be really noisy at times with the bottle makes me laugh

Eddi sounds like Jack and Jake...at one point I was buying new water bottles every couple of months because somepig would somehow force the spout right off the bottle. Didn't know that was possible? No, neither did I Blitzen was a relatively quiet drinker...Comet was a noisy sod, and yeah @SkyPipDotBernie he'd get too close to the bottle and tilt his head sometimes to drink. He'd also chew and rattle at the bottle as much as he could, although apparently he only did that when I was around

Lol, my Rocko does. I look over in the middle of the night, listening to his loud slurping, then I see his head tilted in such a way. Ooh. It’s weird, isn’t it?

Yea my sow does it, shes the first ive had that does it lol. Out of 4 pigs

Makes you wonder why . Maybe its a comfort thing , or something to do with how they suckled from the mother? I doubt its linked, its not the same thing

I don't actually understand how they do this. Like gravity shouldn't allow an upright bottle to be backwashed into
