How to tell if there’s blood or discoloured urine?

I remember ages ago seeing this thing where you blot up urine with toilet paper and if it spreads or looks a certain way it’s blood and if it looks a different way it’s just discoloured urine but for the life of me I can’t find what it was now I need it!
Anyone know?
