I have just given my long haired piggy a bath as the hair around his bum was turning a golden brown colour from wee and poo stains.
The colour has lightened abit but it's still brown so he's now a lilac, white and golden guinea pig rather than a lilac and white piggy.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the stains out? It's not matted so I don't really want to cut it and he never keeps still when he's getting his coat sorted unless he's getting blown dry.

Have you tried any of the gorgeous guineas products to see if they have anything suitable?

I've had a look at the website but nothing that seems to fit the bill. I might just have to go through each one and see which is best.
I'm currently using an antibacterial shampoo i got from a pet shop.

I have a white boar, and wee stains are a problem around his back legs. Gets too comfy and can't be bothered to move to weerolleyes. Tried Gorgeous Guineas and doesn't tackle the problem unfortunately. Would love to here too if anyone has any tips.

Vanish stain remover and then Tip ex the stained spots

JOKE!

One of the Gorgeous Guineas shampoos does say something about it being good for white fur, not sure if thats the one you have tried though

I have a gorgeous guinea shampoo and it turned Misty back into a PEW and got stains out, lazy girl! It did say to leave it on for a few mins so did that, and then redid, concentrating on stains.

Try giving Chrissie at Gorgeous Guineas a call or mail her. She will advise...she is very good.
