And don't hold back, let your passion for your pets show!
Someone builds a hutch, two tier, then ask if it's suitable for a rabbit and two guinea pigs. Note 'Rabbit AND two Guinea Pigs' not one or the other.
Hutch is clearly not suitable for either as
A: The holes are not big enough for a Rabbit.
B: The ramp is too steep for Guinea Pigs.

Not to mention the big NO when they're even considering putting together to different species.
Yet, they expect answers to be yes, they can co-exist, then bury their head in the sand when they hear what they don't want to hear. And this is a true story, it's in a face book group.

It is so frustrating people just do not listen. People want to get animals and do everything as cheap as possible.

I think it's a child/teenager and her parents have made a hutch. She's put pictures up of it.
It's like they think that a rabbit wouldn't hurt a guinea pig, but they've just been very lucky it hasn't happened to them.

I'm not on Facebook, but hopefully if enough people leave negative comments about the hutch and keeping a rabbit and guinea pigs together maybe they will see sense. If not can you not post the RSPCA guidelines on the thread?

I've got one person who clearly thinks all the comments i've made are aimed at her.. she didn't even make the thread. She's adamant that rabbits and guinea pigs are able to live together and won't accept any opinion from anyone else. Called me and others the 'Guinea Pig Police'.

Rubbish, my guinea pig books even say they should NOT be kept together, I dread to think what this person will do.

The thread was removed, then the pictures appeared. I'm just hoping she adjusts the ramp now so they don't fall and hurt themselves.

Not sure, it needs a bit of work to make safe. Person who is pro guinea pigs and rabbit left the group, but not before posting a picture of a rabbit and guinea pig together. Talk about sour grapes.

I hate those type of groups when people post to ask if something is okay, when it obviously isn't! and then someone dares to voice what most other people are thinking and THEY get berated for it!

I will never understand why people ask a question if they don't want an answer?
I also don't understand why you would consider taking something into your home which depends on you fully to stay alive without researching, learning and understanding everything you can about the subject?
Isn't that simply duty of care...
