I'm sure of it..
Just came in from the garden and he was carefully giving each piggy a bit of Broccoli. Making sure they had the same size each. Hahaha
I think hes secretly looking forward to Boofle giving birth.:(|)
 
I wouldn't be surprised - my hubby is like that, as long as he thinks I'm not noticing!
 
My OH will always deny loving the piggies but he does really. I quite often hear him speaking to them before he goes to bed and he always says good morning to them. He's a big softy really!
 
I havnt heard him talking to them yet. But I'm sure he will at some point.
When i get up in the mornings I put on a squeeky voice and say heloooo girlies hahahaha. Stoopid blinkin mare
 
aww , when we got our boys originally my other half wasn't that keen, but then he started feeding them at night and they started wheeking at him all the time and he fell quite in love I think, he was really upset when ours drowned and was quite offended that some people didn't seem to understand how upsetting them dying was

Hmm...I dont know...mine asked for a tea pot for Christmas, and was so happy and excited when my parents got him one! rolleyes As for him and the piggies...well...he does love them deep down and will have a little natter to them (especially Archie as he's his little boy :) )
 
I thought it was just my hubby that was like that, but guinea pigs obviously bring out our blokes' best sides!

When i first got piggies he was like 'your rug rats need feeding'. But when one of them died he had tears rolling down his face as he lifted the piggy out. He now takes great pleasure in preparing veg bowls for them (making sure all 3 are identical) and he always makes a fuss of them. He reckons I'm crazy for talking to them, but he doesn't realise he's just as bad! He can't go into P@H without checking the adoption centre and I'm sure its only a matter of time before our gang expands.

It proves that gp's are sweet, funny and endearing little animals with characters that can appeal to anyone.
 
Oh my. I came in from the kitchen and found hubby engrossed in a guinea pig book. He then proceeded to talk to me about what veggies have the most vit c in. Hahaha I couldnt help but smile.
And hes been on the phone ranting away to his dad about p&h selling us a pregnant piggie etc etc.
He makes me laarrrffffff:a19:
 
Yeah I have caught my OH putting the pigs back from a secret cuddle, n'aww
 
Bless all your hubbies/partners/OH's that are closest piggie lovers...maybe we ought to set up a specal anonymous section for them on the forum so they can be all loved up about the piggies together lol
 
It's when you find a little trail of hay across the lounge where he's picked one up for a cuddle on the sofa that you know their smitten :))
 
When he calls them the same silly cutesy nicknames you do tis love xD I always hear him calling Valentino "Vy Vy" :))
