Gizmo & Logan, where having a fight, so when they were calm we decided to put them back in the cage. They were both a bit shocked shaky. Dave put Gizmo in the cage fine. Then he went BEHIND Logan to pick him up, & he bit him hard. I mustn't laugh.
It had gone septic in 12 hours, so he had to go to a health walk in centre for antibiotics. They wanted to admit him to hospital because Logan had clipped the tendon. He won't come up behind a stressed piggie again.

My boyfriend got bitten by Podrick last year. You should have seen the amount of blood that came out of him. It didn't stop bleeding for 2 days! There was blood all over the house, I ended up making him stand over the bath whilst I tried to disinfect and stop it bleeding.

Thankfully he completely blamed himself. He was trying to pick him up, and Pod was getting stressed and started chattering. But he persisted and Pod lunged

If ever a piggie bit my OH he would blame the pig and not himself and he would take an instant dislike to them! At the mo he tolerates them (so he says) even though it was HIS idea that we get some more (had 2 boars years ago). He will sit outside when he thinks I'm not looking and watch them for ages. He likes them he just doesn't want to admit it!

Oh ouch. Coco bit me once quite deep (not deep enough I needed stitches) and I bled like a stuck pig for half an hour and hurt something bad. After it healed it was still sore underneath for three weeks. Piggy bites are evil.

That is painful,it happened to me,two boars were preparing for a fight, circling ,teeth chattering !so i went to use an upside down igloo to scoop out a guinea pig ,and in doing so i found Lewis had bit through my index finger .when i looked Lewis was hanging from my finger with his two front teeth attatched !it was a a big wound, gone through to the bone!needed stitches and antibiotics ,a tetanus jab, because Lewis had been out on the lawn !I hope your husband recovers soon.:)
