As Hunter recently lost his cagemate Toby we have been debating amongst ourselves what is the best next step for him. We have come to the conclusion that getting him neutered as he is so young is the best option for him. We want to see him with a friend or two and already have a couple of our girls who we think might be suitable being Saffi and Nibbles.
Normally we would have him neutered by our own vets but because he is such a special boy to us we are hoping that Joanne at Hutches Rescue will take him to her vet who is more experienced than ours for his op. Then we hope that in 6 weeks he will be able to wine and dine the girls and see if they are impressed enough to become his wifepig/s.
