Tewdric
Teenage Guinea Pig
Come on weather, get a wriggle on and warm up a bit.
I really need to get my pigs out and into their luxury 6ft hutch. They've been inside since the end of September when my Brunel was neutered after loosing his friend to cancer and unsuccessful boar dating at our local rescue.
My husband has severe asthma, but loves the pigs (Brunel especially) and until we bonded Brunel with Lilith he was actually coping with having him in the house ok.
It turns out that he is really allergic to Lilith - there's something about her coat that really irritates his asthma. We know it's not the hay as he's been tested! So, with lots of hoovering, fleece bedding, me changing clothes after run cleaning and cuddles and keeping the spare room shut as much as possible we've survived the winter - just about.
However, we really, really need to get them back outside now. Hubby is starting to suffer.
The heating is off in our house now..... the pigs have spent some time out on the lawn on sunny days...... it can't be much longer before we're able to safely move them out can it??
