Some of you may remember my comment about my husband and my piggies well get this. He has decided to get some hens LOL so now everything is chicken this andthat. We are going to get 4 so need some girl name suggestions. However my reason for listing is I can now get more piccies cos I only have 3! Ha :)p
 
:)) I can't wait to get our hens but seeing as we are on holiday in may and have roped my best friend into looking after Peter and my mum and dad to look after the girls we decided to wait until we are back in June. One is going to be called Mary after my Nanna who died last year as she was so excited about us getting chickens and used to always talk about it.
 
Funny enough I was thinking doris and Margaret after my two grans. Lol
 
my friend suggested we went for Pandora and Tiffany to try and drop hints to the OH for presents hehe I kind of like the idea of Pandora but OH wants to call one of them Attila the Hen

If one of them is ginger, you can always call her Henna, of course - or Pecky... :))
 
Mine are called Dottie, Daisy, Poppy, Rossetta and Dr Mumbo. Blame hubby for the last name :)) nutter.
I have had my girls for a year and a half, and I would not be without them. Three of my girls give cuddles, but they are not the same as cuddly pigs.
What breeds is your hubby getting?

we went out to a farm who do rare breeds aswell as normal? anyway he suggested hybrids as they were very hardy and good for a first time owner. He is getting a batch next week of different colours as he only had 4 left in his massive field and he said we could go and choose hopefully next friday. We just have to await the arrival of our coop and run. Names we are thinking of are: Bella,Alice, Henrietta, and Rose, thinking my daughter may have had her twilight head on when thinking of names. I am liking pandora though and as for Attila thats really funny!
 
My friend is getting hens and I asked what she'd call them and she said something like, "they're hens, they'll have henny names, like Polly, Molly, Dolly and Holly!"
