Hi!
Weve just recently moved our piigies into an outdoor hutch, and were continuing to use sawdust. Were hoping to change to something else because the sawdust is t working for us anymore and was wondering what everyone else uses to line the floors of their hutches?
Thank you!

i use lino on the floor of hutch, cheap offcuts from carpet shop.it stops moisture going through to the wood.for bedding i use lots of different options !aubiose, basic bliss, megazorb, puppypads and hay, sometimes vet bed/fleece liners.it is what you find suits you best !

I haven't lined my hutch with lino. I just put puppy pads down and then a top layer of hay. I clean it thoroughly once a week and let it dry properly before I put the clean stuff back. I have had no trouble with moisture in the wood. Even in the winter I don't have a problem. You will find what you and your piggies like best.

Too much hay 1.webp
