Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my hutch. I have 3 boars and have chosen to go with this hutch... https://www.amazon.co.uk/External-C...aUb4&pd_rd_wg=AoZUK&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
It seems like a reasonable hutch with good reviews and I could pair it with the cover and insulator. I just wanted to make sure this is the right one. Any thoughts? And has anyone else had this hutch in the past or maybe present time?

Sadly, A 6ft hutch is not big enough for three boars If they are all living together. 6ft x 2ft is only big enough for two boars and given boar trios have such a high failure rate, you will need to provide them with a much larger space to prevent problems. They require at least a square metre each (so a three square metre hutch space) and a plan to be able to separate them if they are youngsters as they are sadly unlikely to make it to adulthood together

Do you have any recommendations?

To be honest, you’re unlikely to be able to buy a hutch big enough for three boars without it being custom made. Rydale hutches are custom made so you could look to them if you’re in the uk.
Unfortunately getting the mix of characters right between a trio, particularly boars, is rather tricky and secondary comes lack of space as a contributing factor to tensions and breakdowns in relationships.

As I said, you will also need a back up plan of how to house them if things turn between them, so that they can still be next to each other as a pair (6ft x 2ft for a pair) and a single (4ft x 2ft space needed unless he was also paired up in which case a second 6ft x 2ft space would be needed) so interaction can happen through the bars for the single to prevent loneliness.
