Ive just been down the local tip to take my piggy crap etc,and standing at the side near the fence was a triple block of hutches in excellent condition,soooo i asked the girl that works there and she said her mum is having them as she breeds bunnies and birds( not that you could put birds in them tho)

dammit!

I wonder how much of our thrown away stuff they take home every day >:( >:(

anyway i was dumping the waste etc in the bin for garden crap etc and this pathetic girl came up that works there and said " we dont tak animal waste " to which a guy working there said " well it is recyclable and theres no paper etc in it so its ok!"
that was a total slapdown for her..she walked off mumbling hahahahahah! her face was a picture ;D ;D there was quite a bit of stuff in there from people cleaning piggies and bunnies etc out ;D ;D
 
you shouldve seen the hutch,4 ft long at least and 3 levels,tongue/grooved :o :o :o

Wow, shame you couldn't get it. I havn't been to the dump for ages, will have to go and have a nosy LOL. Do you take the piggy poop to the dump? Wonder if we could do that at ours, hmmm...
 
yup i take it there and empty it out of my black bags into the garden rubbish skip O0
 
::) They are all the same, we saw a bench and a hutch once that we wanted, asked them if we could have them but they said no as the boss wanted them. I don't like going down there as they always look at what your dumping, they are a right bunch of scroungers xx0 last time we went, they asked us ''what have you got there?'' my Dad said ''Rabbit sh!t, why do you want it?'' it was soooo funny I nearly wet myself ;D

We always take our piggie bags to Calverton tip never once have we been asked what we are dumping. Took it once to the one up by showcase and they would not let us dump it there >:( never see anything good when we go.

We have got a few things from the dump scaby I know but people throw away perfectly usable stuff you have to get to them before it leaves their hands so if you see some thing in some ones car etc then ask don't wait to see where they put it!

Shaz, i'll come to yours for the weekend and we will set up a tent just outside the dump and go on the scrounge for good stuff!
 
yeah i out my piggie wast in the dump to well my dad dose i live it in soem bin bangs for him and he puts it in the back of his van and takes it and i dont see it again
 
Don't search the dump, freecycle!
There's this website www.freecycle.org.uk . Find your local group and join. (It's a Yahoo group) People advertise stuff they might otherwise take to the tip and if someone else can make use of it they collect it. Saves landfill.
I've seen a few hutches on my local one. O0
