had no veggies in the house this morning (this never happens) and one of my girls sat on top of the hidey for 20 minutes giving me evils. Got some when i went up town later on but it meant they had no veg all morning. They normally get it within 10 minutes of me being out of bed. She wasnt even wheeking , just sat staring at me.If they had a phone she would have reported me. She made me feel really guilty, how dare i make them wait.

My boys had to wait today as well. I've been feeding at ridiculous times due to uni schedule and poor sleep patterns and today they still hadn't finished their previous veg when I left so I refused to give them an early feed as they clearly weren't that hungry!

This afternoon was the first time in ages they wheeked for veg - well seeing I was late!

Oh you are not a bad owner! There are no vegetables in the house at all for anyone today! I have to go shopping at lunch time. We had our kitchen ripped out yesterday so there is no where to put anything (we are all crammed into the living room hiding from builders) and so I am shopping on a daily basis rather than a week at a time.
Remember lots of guineas don't have daily veg. Sad but true :(

the only pig who makes a fuss is Rambo. If she wants something you can hear her screeching from the shed! I tend to just stand listening to her when she's having a squeaking tantrum mainly because its so amusing hehe. And then i get told off for being late!

This is a serious offence me thinks....no veggies! What are you thinking of? Hopefully you will be forgiven when you appear bearing their noms. :tu:

as i work shifts my pigs dont have a set time for their veggies (bad i know but i can't help it in my job) i tend to get shrieked at when they get impatient haha

I get accosted by my gang every time I walk up the stairs as their room faces me as I reach the top, regardless of whether they've been fed or not!

I work shifts and I do 10am to 10am the following day. those mornings I am later home and not in with them by 7 am they wheek the hell out of my husband! :lol!:

I have the opposite problem here - I have so many veggies I don't know what to do with them - I'm trying to tempt Piglet with all sorts of favourites! :luv:

Do you know - a friend at work asked me if he gets veggies that I haven't eaten! How very dare she!:yikes: He gets better veggies than I get so I get his left overs if I'm lucky! :woot:

Me too! Often, when I'm preparing their "side salad" , I pick out a leaf that's not looking A1 and and put it aside for us.

I tend to give them 1/2 a bell pepper. They get a fresh pepper each time. I put the other 1/2 in the fridge and, when we have a collection ,I roast them. We're having roasted peppers twice a week on average.

Next time it happens, just pick her some grass or something instead :) You are not a bad owner at all, nobody is expected to have an unlimited supply of veggies and at least you got her some later on!

Mine are loving bell pepper, celery and cucumber at the moment hehee
