I went to Home Bargains and got a fleece for £3.99 with George from Peppa Pig on it!

I have never seen my pigs so excited. Hoggle popcorned about 6 inches in the air! They were wheeking like crazy and tucking into their veg and running round the cage, obviously not knowing I was there! Only bad thing is it shows just how much they poo! :o

Here are some pics..

AWWWW yay they love it. They will do the mad running and popcorning every time they get a new fleece!

Asda do a bargain all brown fleece for £2 and that doesn't show the poop up much at all. Don't know if they still have them but if you shop there it's worth a go.

Such cute cute piggies!

Awwww bless them :))
I wont use anything but fleece as my piggies love their fleece too much :))

Can't believe I never did it sooner, being indoors, woodshavings were so messy, I was forever sweeping up (the hoover scares them too much! :o )

I will check out the asda ones, thanks!

It was a joy to watch, it is like us getting a new carpet! lol

I am loving the fact they are getting fatter and their hair is getting long, Hoggle's white quiff makes me chuckle even more now it is growing! :(|)

Dont forget to check the local pound stores and tesco do a big fleece in 3 colours for £2.00 each.

xx

I have a nice pale green one too but I guess the more I get the easier it will be and they won't bobble as quick! Will check out the supermarkets over the weekend!

I love my Peppa Pig one, might get another! hehe

My piggies are usually holed up in the cage after I have made it up freshly.

However - the amount of poos from seven piggies I dig up at least twice daily is impressive. I should have a VERY fertile garden by this time next year! :)):)):))

peppa pig how old are you!ha ha
my piggies love their fleece they sprawl out on it and look so comfy what do you have underneath?i have newspapers towels and puppy pads.
primark do good cheap fleeces as well

HAHA! I just thought they would like it, Peppa Pig is cute! :(|)

I have just got newspaper under. I felt bad because I had to put them in their pet carrier whilst I hoovered the remains of the sawdust, my god it is hard to get rid of!

It looks so much nicer...:)

I agree with you - my six girls make a huge amount of poo and it never ceases to amaze me. Not thought about using it for fertiliser though. Where do you put yours?

pepper pig for two little pigs! i love it! hee hee :)) x i use fleece aswell but i find i cant seem to keep up with the poo's of my three as they poo absoloutly everywhere! ive started doing one week shavings one week fleece. They dont really seem to prefer one over the other although with the shavings i can put huge mounds of hay on it which they love :) personally i find shavings easier, but its fun to use fleece aswell x
Your cage looks lovely! :))

i might try and use fleece instead of hay... where do they sleep tho? do they just curl up in the corner? id be worried about them getting cold :(

I'm glad yours love it though! id like to try it but as i said, i wouldnt want them to get cold, although they are kept indoors.

Mine have some cosy beds and some igloos - right now they are all still picking the igloos as their preferred place to sleep but do lounge in the furry / fleecy beds sometimes.

Oh no! I was in Tesco before and forgot to get fleeces! grrrr

I did however get a wine carrier and filled it with hay and they love it! They are starting to eat it though so it probably won't exist in the morning!

That fleece is so cute! I'm so glad they're all happy~
Oh! Places like Bastins do really nice ones! You can get Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse (Along with fleeces with the others on, too!) and all sorts of stuff.

My boys really loved fleece but it was too much for me to handle (I had to handwash it all! Takes forever to wash and rinse properly.) it was just too much for me to deal with.
My dad doesn't appreciate be using the washing machine for piggy stuff :{

So do you just put a fleece blanet down in the cage instead of sawust?

I'm confused.. does it not get soaked with pee?

Oh, I totally have to get Hello Kitty fleece for my bunch! Bo is very comfortable in his manlyhood and doesn't mind walking on pink stuff, luckily ;)

No, that's the whole idea with fleece, that it doesn't soak up the wee. If you have something absorbant underneath the layer of fleece (I use cotton towels), the fleece wicks the wet stuff away in no time at all!-c

Yes it is instead of sawdust but I have newspaper under too. :)

It is so much better for my kitchen floor, I was sick of sawdust getting everywhere everytime I picked them up!

I have got a mini Dirt Devil from my mum's to get the bits of hay up to make the fleece look nicer in between washes. :)
