Went to Pets At Home today to get some dog food as they had our dogs brand on offer so thought we would stock up.

Anyway as I do I look at the guinea pigs and other animals.

In their adoption section there was a guinea pig called Boris who needed a home. People were looking at him and saying he was cute and so on. But they all then headded over to the baby guinea pigs and never gave him a second look as he is bigger and less appealing to the general pubic I guess (well those that were in the shop at least).

I asked if there was anything wrong with him, why he was in the adoption centre and so on. Aparently he was just unwanted.

To me he was cuter than the rest of the baby ones in the normal part of the shop.

Anyway after some consideration and thinking about what cages I had left, if he could live with anyone else and so on we decided he could come home with us making my grand total of guinea pigs up to 5 now.

So now its time to see if he can be added in to one of the groups.

Anyway hear is a picture of him.

Oh and his name is now Thomas, was not keen on Boris he did not look like a Boris LOL

Oh he is gorgeous! I love the older pigs too! Babies are cute though! Pudsey came from P @ H adoption at three months because of an allergy to woodshavings. :)

Awww he is just beautiful - I wouldn't have been able to resist him either - I always look at the adoption ones before I look at the baby ones - I actually prefer the older ones, think they have more character.:)

I love him! I always find trips to P@H very tempting for the adoption centre at the back. there was a male pig there for a few weeks who was called Bruce lee! We went in for the 3rd week running cause we'd been talking about him all week, and he had gone. probably good cause i would have taken him home otherwise.

Anyway, i love Thomas. a very handsome piggy.

I always prefer the adults to the babies, as the bubs are small and cute and all, but the adults are big and chunky and have filled into their skin better! He's just gorgeous by the way :)

Thomas is beautiful, lovely colouring in Black, Cream and white. Does he have anymore cream on his other side?
