O.k i think i have finally lost it. was full full full and decided to shut the rescue untill we could get numbers back down....Well fat chance of that! i have found lovely homes for 6 pigs then wadda you know.... 3 babies abandoned before xmas on their way here,5 piggys a family dont want as going away for xmas also on their way here and then the mother load 25 pigs a breeder doesnt want all on their way here .I AM insane.........
NO more!!
 
Blimey, you have seriously got your work cut out there hun! Are there any other rescues that could help take the preasure off you alittle? I'm just glad there are people like you out there x
 
no i am the only rescue here still functioning.we used to have a big one a few hrs away from me but it has shut down through lack of funding( i do not rely on donations) I started up my rescue after the only other one shut down so now there is only me:( I have got heeps of new block cages luckily but will be a bit straped for cash this holidays lol better do heeps of overtime
 
Sorry to hear so many piggies are in need with you at the moment - but well done for taking in these gorgeous little furballs, at least they will know what it is like to be loved and wanted in your care. The world is not a very nice place at timesgrrrr.
 
Well done for taking them, hard to say no isn't it! No such thing as 'full' I guess!

I dreamt last night that I found 50 guineas at the bus stop... must be going crazy too! It was awful, I kept having to catch them and try to put them in boxes, over and over again!

Slightly of topic; I often dream my lot are running loose in the garden and I frantically catch them over and over again I thought it was just me being a bit odd that had such night terrors
 
I am Full, with piggies sheds full, piggies all over indoors but found room for a little one this morning when a 10 week old boar was in dire need.

No is such a small word but it makes me feel there are biog consequences for the anmals if I say it. All the big rescues are full save one whoi s building hutches to meet the need :o and us littl independants are doing our best but are all swamped.

Well done you for taking all these piggies in I know what hard work it can be but also how rewarding it can be too.
 
I am so full of admiration for all of you who do this wonderful rescue work - I don't know where the piggie world would be without you.
 
Well done for all the rescuing you all do!

I guess it is very difficult when you say you are full and then a little piggy or more needs help!
 
thanks everyone for the kind words.I have heard of another couple of piggys a family has become 'bored of' but thank goodness a lovely woman who does dog rehoming has decided she will keep them so i dont have to worry about finding them a good home.
