I am piggie sitting frogmellas mum, little sister and 3 three day old babies.
I went over to see them while their owner is on holiday and one of the babies was hanging through the cage, stuck so, I have brought them home with me and put them in my spare cage, their owner is back later this week, but I was dreading going to feed them later to find one of the babies dead, hanging/stuck through the wires.
I do not know if I should have removed them form the cage they were born in 3 days ago.
I have left the adult rabbits and the boy piggies back at their place but they will be safe and will be feed later by my OH.
These piggies are never handled and I am quite upset that these piggies keep having babies, Kyle sexed the adults back in Feb and so hopefully this will be the last litter this poor girlie has.
Tonight I will cut the nails and check for lice etc, they are very nervous. I do not really think the owner should have them back. None of them even have names!
What do I do?
Here are a picture of mum, 2 month old daughter and the 3 new babies 2 boys 1 white pink eye & 1 ginger and white. the other daughter is also ginger and white.

I know the babies will be given to a pet shop but I know I could keep the babies if I want but I do not have enough room as I already have my own 9 piggies, if anybody is close to Taunton then let me know and I will make arrangements with the owner.

OMG that's a real predicament but it would be wrong of you not to give them back as they do not belong to you, although I do understand why you would want to "rescue" them. Perhaps try having a good talk to the owner upon return and helping them try to rehome the piggies.

I will give them back but the poor piggies just sit huddled together, the boys cage looked like it has not been cleaned out since they brought the cage it has composted on the bottom! My OH Kyle will clean the boys cage out tonight. The drink bottles were full of green slime.
They do not get fresh veg every day, they will while we are looking after them, even though I am doing it for nothing and I am paying for their veg myself.
I find it so upsetting.

is there anything you can do at all? i know you cant just not give them back but there must be something. the poor piggies :'( :'(

I cant really say anything to him, I gave him a cage so that the boys and girls could be split and he keeps the girls and the rabbits together but this guy pays our wages!
So I can not rub him up the wrong way!
