Since my last little piggy died in July I have been bereft. I really miss the little squeakers. Trouble is, when she died my OH had just lost his job and we didn't want to add to our animal family while things were so uncertain, so I couldn't get more piggies.

Well... he's got a new job, which means I can get more pigs. Last week I went to look at a couple at the local rescue centre. They are quite large, but very beautiful although they are also extremely skittish. Anyway, as long as we pass the home check (still waiting to arrange that) they will be mine!

I am ever so slightly excited8)

Great news! Life is so quiet without an wheekers in it!

I am looking forward meeting your new girls! Which rescue are you rehoming them from?

Congratulations! hope all goes well and piggles will be joining you soon!

That's great news, :(|) On both counts....x>>

Ooooooo fabulous news exciting times :))

We were home checked today, and I'm going to get them after work tomorrow. Oh I am going to have a fun evening, getting everything set up for them.
They are two boys and I am going to call them Pedro and Panda, and they are coming from the North Devon Animal Ambulance, a very local rescue which takes in all sorts of animals.

I don't know how I am going to manage to sleep tonight.

That's really great news.. We wouldn't sleep either...;)

No pics for you yet as they have been mostly hiding since I brought them home. They've had almost no handling so are very very shy.
But I now know that they like dandelions, grass, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce and parsley he he! And this morning when I saw Panda's nose poking out of the hidey, he didn't disappear immediately when I said hello to him. So hopefully they will soon get used to us.

CONGRATS ON YOUR HUBBY"S NEW JOB!
