Not properly into words, because I would have to be able to lay my soul down through a keyboard to do so.

George one of the first Guinea Pigs I owned passed away earlier this year and left behind his buddy since birth Lenny. Now Lenny has left us on the 30th December, he saw his Christmas veggies but sadly will not see the new year. I am going to miss him for an eternity. You can have so many pass but it does not get any easier, my heart breaks every time and it hurts so so much. I feel lifeless right now.

R.I.P my two sweet boys, look after each other I'll love you forever and miss you always xx

A lot of people would never understand why I get so cut up about this, but to me they were/are more than just Guinea Pigs. I have spent a lot of time loving them and caring for their every need. They are my life source, without them I would cease to exist.

I.get.it.don't.worry.my.piggies.are.part.of.my.life.without.them.i'd.probably.still.be.depressed.:) xoxoxoxo

I'm so sorry for your loss.
RIP precious Lenny. Run free with George x

My heart is breaking for you reading your tribute to your piggies. Its true that the love of an animal runs so deep and when they pass it is so very very hard. When I first entered into the world of guinea pigs, I was totally unprepared for the impact these little animals would have on my life. The loss of my first piggie was devestating and I couldnt imagine how much these beautiful little animals would mean to me. Anyone who has lost a pet, knows how much you are hurting. Let the tears flow and remember we are all here to support you. Popcorn free at the bridge little ones and watch over mummy whose heart is breaking that you are no longer with her. Send piggie kisses down from the bridge to dry the tears and know that your memory will live forever.......So very sorry...

awwwww i am so sorry love, i feel your pain, we all totally understand how you feel because we would all feel the same and we all feel so emotional when we read these stories.

Rip Lenny Pig, sweet dreams fella xxxxxx

Beautiful pigture x

BIG HUG

I have found that losing the second piggy of a pair means losing the first one all over again, as the last connection to it breaks. It is a very painful experience and it doesn't get any easier, no matter how many piggies you have and lose.

Grief is the other side of love; the more we love, the harder we grieve. But we would be so much poorer if we cut out all the love and the joy in order to avoid the grieving!

RIP Lenny and George - together again

Thank you all for your kind messages, they have really comforted me during this time of so much heart ache.

Oh I'm so sorry to read this hun :( I bet they both had an amazing life with you and are missing you, as much as you are them. Keep them close to your heart, they will never be forgotten.
BIG HUGS!

I am so sorry hunni, everyone on this forum understands how your feeling we all love our piggies like babies. I filled up reading your beautiful tribute, reminds me so much of my boys who have recently left us. I'm sending you massive hugs right now. You gave both of them a wonderful life. RIP to both your gorgeous boys. xxxxxxx

So sorry for your loss :0 They are such beautiful piggies and are now together again. We all understand how hard it is and are always here.
RIP little Lenny xx

I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand totally why you are so upset, pets become part of our lives, they are there everyday, we care for them, feed them, look after them when they are ill, we are like there parents, so when they are not there anymore we feel a great loss.
RIP Lenny and George, sleep well little ones x

Shedding Tears With You

Am so so sorry little piggy has gone - have only had my 2 girls for a year, but I know it will break my heart when they go - I know I will always have piggies in my life now until the day I die .

xx

Sorry about your beautiful boys. I understand perfectly what you are going through, last month i lost my beloved Alfie he had been unwell for a few weeks despite me spending lots on him at the vets trying everything. He just gave up in the end. I was absolutely gutted and still am, i miss his cheeky face up the front of the cage waiting for food. Many people dont understand how we get so attached to our piggies but we do. RIP boys xx
