I can't find the nail clippers

Is there anything else I can use to keep my guinea-pigs nails down until I find them or get some new ones? The earliest I can get some new ones in the weekend and my guinea-pigs nails are looking a bit long and I was wondering if there was anything I could put in the run that could wear their nails down a bit? I was thinking of putting their run on the patio for a bit? Would that work?

Putting the run on the patio may work, but may sure that the slabs are warm from the sun as indoors piggies could easily come down with an UTI otherwise. However, don't panic over three days more and enjoy the popcorns on the weekend instead!
