I cant get another guinea pig

I cant get another guinea pig because my mom wont allow it. Plus I go to school instead of homeschool in a week. My mom also doesnt really play with her. What should I do?
 
It’s hard but your piggy may be lonely and bored. As much as you love her she really needs interaction with another pig, and if she’s not getting any attention during the week it may be kinder to rehome her to someone with other pigs and a bit more time to give her :(

Ive had her for like 3 weeks? Shes happy now because i have been staying home for some certain events but after my schools christmas break I'm leaving

In reality though, no matter how much time you can spend with her, it doesn’t replace the company of another guinea pig with whom she can talk and play. I know it’s hard but for the long term, being without a guinea pig friend of her own, she will become lonely
 
A second guinea pig doesn't take up any more room than 1, the minimum cage size for 1 is the same as 2. It also doesn't really add up to much more regarding food either. Guinea pigs are like people, even ones that arent fussed about others of their own species still thrive having at least one other to speak to and hear, even if they dont share a cage. It would be like waking up one morning to find no other humans on earth, it would very soon start to affect your mental health, as like guinea pigs, we're hard wired to be around others.

I wish my mom would listen to that do you think there is a way i could keep just one? Thanks!
 
Try putting yourself yourself where your piggy is as @Eriathwen has already tried to explain. You have been taken away from all your friends, put on your own in a strange and scary environment with new smells and giants. You are given food you may not be used to and then you have nobody to talk to. You say you aren't going to be around after Christmas and that you're leaving where are you going? If your Mum isn't happy looking after her it really would be better for her to be surrendered to a rescue.
 
Cant you offer to do loads of housework ( If you dont already) and wash the car and hoover it and that sort of stuff in exchange for getting another pig? Dont give up just keep asking, in the end giving in will be easier than saying no👍 but i do agree with all above posts

i have money I'm just not aloud to get one I'm not 18 so i cant just buy one either i need parental consent according to what petsmart told me
