Of all the times for my stomach to really lose it, apparently it's today. Not content with a really bad IBS flare, I'm now stress vomiting. Ye gods, I don't deserve this lol.

But it means I haven't been able to get home yet today. I know the boys had full water bottles when I left yesterday, a full pellet bowl, one heck of a lot of hay, and lovely fresh veg....but it's a warm day and I can't risk being far away from a toilet.

I'm still debating risking a taxi, but £50 if I vomit in the thing is a tough pill to swallow.

That's terrible. Do you have any friends in your area you can call to take your keys to check on the boys? I don't think any sort of transport is an option for you right now.

I really hope it passes swiftly.

Nope. I know someone else in my building who would do it no problem, but getting my keys to him would be the problem, because they're here and he's there.

I mean my bedroom is the coolest room in the flat. But...I may give it another couple of hours yet. The staff member covering tonight will let me head over at 3am if needs be, so there's that for an option.

Try not to stress about it otherwise you'll make things worse. Take it half an hour at a time, the piggies will soon forgive you

I'm sure they will be fine, they've got plenty of hay, that's the main thing. Hope you feel better soon.

My panic is over. Just got home and they're both grumpy with me. Never thought I'd be saying grumpy guineas were a good thing, but I'm too relieved to care!

Also I've stopped being sick etc, but taxi rides still make me feel ill. Ugh.

To be honest, I'm just really hungry and everything is making me  but I daren't risk it til after I go back. It's either that or live off Pepsi for a week
