As most of you know, my 2 babies are having a terrible time and are really poorly.
neo has 2 lots of medicine and eye drops, and Ash has 2 medicines.
At first, Neo took his no problem, but now i am really struggling to get them down them.. Ive tried putting them on food but they wont take it, and are now getting really distressed, Neo is even biting :(
neo is even shaking and wiping the eye drops out! Ive tried wrapping him in a blanket, but he just gets out..Any ideas appreciated!

Poor things. I use a towel wrap firmly but obviously not too tight in and hold while someone else gives the meds by syringe or puts the drops in. They are terribly stubborn sometimes.

I wouldn't put on food as you don't know if they are taking enough. Good look with them. :)

thanks, with them being so small and wriggly they are getting out so quickly.. will just have to keep trying! Its took me 25 mins to get Ash's meds down him.. now for my nibbler Neo.. wish I wasnt allergic to latex! I need some of those thick gardening gloves! lol x
thats why the food wasnt working (the vet recom it) I was having to sit and make sure they were eating it. They are back together in same cage now Neo has perked up a bit, :) and they are both infected now anyway :(

When I was giving tiger antibiotics I used straight highjuice cordial to get it down his throat after 2 days he was opening his mouth wide for it :)) bascially put some on a saucer and then fill the syringe with an equal amount of pure cordial to that of the medicine and then when trying to put it in his mouth do it from the side so you are going behind the front teeth. it will get easier once they know it tastes nice. tiger even lappedup the spillages with his tongue :))
