I cut a door for front access, what to cover the edge with?

Hi, I cut a large door in the front of my C & C cage which is very handy for interaction with the Guinea pigs. I attached another grid on one side as a hinge and the other side a clip so I can open it and lock it closed. Works great. But it is sharp, despite my sanding it a bit. It is large so there is less likely the pigs will need to touch it but to be safe I want to place something along it to make sure they can't harm themselves on the sharp edges and me too as I am the one who keep scratching themselves on it.
What do I place over it and where would I get it from please.

Do you mean you cut the Corex? If so I cut a flap in mine, a binder as Veggies Galore mentions above holds it together when not open.
