I don't know what's going on

I from brazil, so forgive me if i make any english mistakes.
I have a male guinea pig, his name is bubu, he is 2.5 years old. I would usually lay in my bed with him and watch a couple of south park episodes or something, while feeding him some vegetables, he would jump and lay on my chest and just chill.
Out of nowhere, last week, he stoped doing that, when i put him in bed he didnt eat, didnt jump on my chest, he just stood there on the corner and actualy tryied to find a hole to hide.
I thought he was having a bad day or something, so i just placed him back on the cage, but on the next day, the same thing happend.
He is acting fine on his cage, eating, drinking water and all of that, he is not hurt, he didnt fall, i dont think he is sick, i took him to the vet 3 months ago for a checkup and he was fine.
He just started acting like a brand new guinea pig, scared of everything and can only chill in his cage, wtf guys ?

Yea, when he ran and tryed to dig a hole, he probably got spooked with something, but what i'm saying is that now, he is acting extra scared of everything, and he wasnt like that, i want to know what can i do to get him okay with the outside of the cage world again.
I'm even afraid of him having a heart attack or something when i take him out of the cage cause his heart is beating so fast.
And the weirdest is that he is not a new guinea pig, he was fine with everything just last week.
 
I would let him settle in the cage for a while and try hand feeding veg again. Mine got spooked the same and it last about a week
 
Good ideas above. IS he eating okay in his cage?
 
It may just be that something spooked him and he will settle in a few days.
If you are worried then a visit to the vet would be worth it.

Holy , i forgot to get back here hahaha yeah, he has a shelter and he was eating okay. He probably got spooked, he is back to normal now thank god. Thanks for the attention you guys <3
