Bramble and Herbert live side by side in the separate cages because they fight when we try to put them together, and Bramble is always rumbling and bar biting at Herbert most of his waking time when he's not eating! 🙄

When we put them out in the run together (Obviously separated) the other day though, I saw Bramble (Brown and black pig) laying right next to Herbert and just had to take a couple of photos.....

So, maybe Bramble actually is more fond of Herbert than he pretends to be! 🥰 _IMG6768.JPG

Hi

This is a classic 'power lie in' to mark the territorial boundary. I see in my own Tribe piggies in adjoining cages all the time. Because most owners are not aware of the strong territorial connection that groups (even groups that comprise just one piggy) have, they generally misinterpret this behaviour as a wish to be back together when it is actually the opposite.
