Do you agree this is a sow? Around 3 months old. The little nob is confusing😅 So scared that I’m wrong here.

Hi

Unfortunately, the range of genitalia formation is surprisingly wide in guinea pigs and by far not all babies look textbook.

In your case, the groove is really pronounced but the tip of the knob is pointed and not button round.
I cannot see the inside bottom bit as well as I'd like but it looks more female than male.

Has your sow another female companion? Then feel her first for the absence of a penis shaft.

If your little baby is equally soft, then she is definitely a sow. If you can feel a little broken basmati rice corn (i.e. a penis shaft) just under the skin, then it is definitely a boy. It is very small but very distinctive little bump and very often the best way to confirm the gender - only that we cannot do it for you.

This reference picture shows you exactly where to feel gently.

This is in cases like yours usually the best way to settle the gender question once and for all because only boys have a penis shaft. If you can't feel anything, then you have definitely got a little girl. ;)
