Before the guineas managed to escape from their make shift run, after around 10mins I managed to get in four of them back in their hutch.

Baby Pig was obviously enjoying her freedom and was charging around popcorning. It took me the best part of an hour to round her up but I feel so bad, as at one point I tried to catch her and ended up somehow catching her fur. She squealed really loudly, ran off and hid (which is then when I managed to get her).

I just feel awful as I obviously hurt her and then scared her. I know it was an accident and I had to catch her as it was unsafe to leave her roaming around but it doesn't make me feel any better.

I tried talking to my OH about it but he just doesn't "get it". Sorry there's not much point in the post, just wanted to get it off my chest.

I've given them all extra peppers tonight and some cucumber to apologize :red

It was an accident and I'm sure baby pig forgives you. One of mine onced jumped from my arms and made a noise I'd never heard before :( thankfully she wasn't injured but I couldn't forgive myself x

I used to have 3 piggies, Rowan, Socks and Tuppence and they were masters of escape! Regularly got out of the run until I proofed it with like industrial mesh. Luckily they always used to head back in the direction of the hutch and were always in/around it when I found them. Was always a terrible fright though!

I wouldn't feel too bad about it, these things happen to us all. I guess the main thing is they're all fine and safe now, back in their home. I'm sure Baby Pig will appreciate it was in her best interests for you to catch her.

Aww this is not your fault. Sometimes it is impossible to catch the little speeders without being a little rough. I suspect baby pig squealed as you caught her and she did not like that. She will have forgotten it by now.

You know it was an accident and as everyone else has said, she's probably forgotten about it now. x

Aw don't worry I'm sure she's forgotten it! I once was putting Tyler back in his cage and he took a flying leap and landed belly first on his chew chube! Frightened me but he was fine rolleyes
