I've got my 2 gerty guinea pig bags and scissors ready for later, going to get the piggie's some grass from a church!
We have been there before for grass so tis okay

You don't need soil for the grass Katy! Just pour a small amount of water over it and it will start to grow, and water regularly!

The grow your own grass stuff arrived today and it is a tray with a pack of seeds. I am guessing I will need soil for this? I don't have any soil and went to a garden centre to get some but the soil comes in big bags and I just want a little bit! How have others done this? I'm thinking about all the soil in the local park...

Do you have a pound stretchers local? I think they sell fairly small bags of compost you'll still end up with a lot more than you need but it won't be a great big whopping grow bag. Or if you know any gardening enthusiast they should be stocking up on compost atm so you could try and nab some off them?
