Blaze has mites in addition to having Flame with Lice, also only these two seem to be affected with something...
Which means while I was going to bath all 4 with Lice n' Easy it means I can really only do 3. While Luckily the are 2 pairs and not a 4, and Flame and Blaze really do not like each other but ARGH
 
Mine have mites for the third time in a year! I've disinfected, washed or exchanged EVERYTHING I can (including pigs), and still here they are and no sign of the mites giving up.

Sometimes, you can feel really so defeated...

Sympathy coming your way babes, but by no means are you a bad piggy momma.
If you were a bad piggy mummy you wouldnt care - but you clearly do.

Mites are like head lice, Even though you protect your children from it, you send them to school, in the piggies case put them back in the hutch... and they seem to come back with it.
I do believe mites can come in bedding.....

Amy and Tomz is right, it comes in the bedding AND the air AND from the wood work.

Sanding down any rough edges in the wood will prevent the mites from burrowing, thus you not being able to get rid of them.

If you spray a bit of diluted baby oil on them this will suffocate the mites and gives the piggies a gleaming coat.

when lilly's 8 children where babies 6 0f them got mites one after the over but after all six got over it there havent had them again
