I have finaly found some kale today as i took a little trip to tecco today was i board and i sow some so i got some there love it lilly soon ate it all and didnt leave a right lot for her 3 girls ;D and max likes it too hes my fussy eater

That's fab O0

I've found that Tescos and Sainsburys tend to cut it up but I've found that a small superstore doesn't and it leaves the leaves nice and big O0

tesco's seem to always stock it thats where i get mine from, my boys go crazy for it! and my girls love it too

we get the kale from Tesco too. If we happen to see some on the market we get that because it isn't cut and keeps a little longer in the fridge. Now we have piggies we are eating more kale and spinach ourselves to use up the veg before it goes off!

Was about to post where do I find it but will take a closer look in tescoand sainsburies today!

we dont have a tesco :( But in morrisons you can get a big bag of full leaves for 79p! Our piggies LOVE it, but truffle much prefers carrots ;D

Managed to get some wasn't what I thought it would look like, I've never seen or heard of it before or tried it for that matter but the girls loved it!

its nice for us too and very healthy, we just had some kale and chicken for dinner...yum :)

I've just bought some Kale. Can this cause bloat and should I only give it every couple of days?

Also does anyone know if its ok for rabbits?

My piggie loves curly kale, we buy a bag from tesco's every week and yes you can feed it to rabbits.

mine would eat kale everyday if i let them, my boys LOVE cabbage any kind of cabbage, my girls always go for the kale first too

Planet Guinea have Leafy Kale on sale now. Plant from April to July for a winter crop or throughout the summer for baby leaves. Feed sparingly as the Calcium content is high. Seeds germinate within the wheek! 50g for £2.10 including packing and postage, thats lots of Kale plants so enough to grow a couple for the winter and some baby leaves. Ok for rabbits as long as they don't have bladder sludge, then probably only once in a blue moon!

yep my boys love kale, they had it last week - high in vit C so good for them :) and us!

Thanks Karen! I think I'll feed it sparingly if it's high in calcium. What 's bladder sludge by the way?
