whilst going through my photos on my computer, I found a load of pigtures from 2011...sadly only Pipster is still with me out of all the piggies here, they all had brilliant characters!

This is Lily pig, she was Pip's first girlfriend this was the day we introduced her to Pip, it was love at first site! )

apparantly up here is best

just weeks after putting them together we found out she had ovarian cysts...we thought she'd gotten pregnant as Pip had recently been neutered and had an abcess from the operation (we weren't convinced they'd done it properly! this is a slightly slimmer Lily pig:

She recovered from having the cysts removed and lived for around another year or so, back in with the Pipster, but sadly developed a cancerous lump on the back of her head...sadly there was nothing that could be done...she was fine for a couple of months, but you could see she wasn't comfortable anymore so we had to have her PTS in the end :( she was 5 years old and had lived a happy life...

More photos to follow....

This is Pipster, he now has a new girlfriend Peppa...she's blind, but they get along really well, once again, I think it was love at first site!

Hiding:

have to excuse the bars...I couldn't seem to find any without them:

These were the girls, Esme, Evie and shadow (shadow is the black one):

Evie:

Evie and Esme (Esme worried she's missing out on something and desperately trying to get in the photo):

Esme:

Evie:

Shadow (I don't have many in focus photos of her as she was quite nervy):

Sadly Evie died of Lymphoma (SP?) Esme died about 4 days later, with no known cause, she was with Evie all her life, all we could think was that she just gave up, they were both 5 years old...Shadow died only a few months ago at the age of 6.

On uploading these to photobucket I have found some really old photos from about 7 years ago! May have to put these on at some point :-)

For those of you who have seen my other post about my pregnant piggy...can you tell I'm killing time?!?! lol!

just reading it, it doesn't sound like a very happy thread, as none of them are with me anymore, but they were all lovely piggies and all had a decent life (I hope!)

Thank you for sharing those precious memories of your rainbow bridge piggies.

Evie and Esme were absolutely beautiful. Were Lily's eyes red or was it the camera. They looked stunning, I love red eyed pigs.

Best of luck for Nutmeg with her birth x

thank you! She did have red eyes...she really was a gorgeous piggy! Evie and Esme had the most cheeky characters! they would climb out of their hutch into my hands if I let them (or they thought I had something worth the effort! lol!) It's made me smile finding these piccys. :-)

Awwww bless, they sounded such fun. Our 2 girls Cookie and Treacle are cheeky like that :)) they are the most fun guinea pigs we've ever had. I doubt I'll have any that are as friendly, I am really spoilt with them....

Lily was a real stunner! It's lovely to be able to go through old photos and smile and remember old fur babies isn't it. If you have anymore photos, I'll be sure to check them out.

How is Nutmeg?

she looks uncomfortable, but she's eating and drinking ok, she's been looking more agitated than normal this evening, cleaning her tummy a lot! poor little thing, I hate not knowing when she is actually due, I've been watching her expecting her to have them for the past two weeks, as she is so big! just keeping my fingers crossed that she will be ok!

Poor little thing, fingers and paws crossed for an easy delivery x

the other photos I have found are from when I used to breed guineas...I didn't do it for long...only managed to rehome 2 and felt really guilty about it, so stopped after that, but have lots of pictures of baby guinea pigs (Including a baby Lily and her brothers)
