I, personally, would be cautious about the ramp and would think about getting some sort of bannister fixed to it! Quite a wee height for a piggy to fall. Otherwise... it looks like a really lovely C&C...I would definatly enquire about shipping to the UK first though, I think it's american and could potientally cost more to ship than buy!

I think that it should be a complete 3x2 downstairs or even 4x2 for 2 guinea pigs. It looks nice but they won't have enough room to really run around the cage which is what my two love to do! If it can be done as a 4x2 then go for it but the 2x2 on the bottom and the way that the top is is quite limiting, especially when you put all the toys and houses etc in!

hrm..so i think that is the biggest she has..and its quite expensive. so maybe ill look somewhere else. the cages everybody seems to have is the C&C cages..

or they make their own, i dont have patients to go buy a bunch of things and put them together lol

and I'm from the US lol, so shipping wont be an issue, but all these other links to websites and things ive found on here i would haha.

Ramps ought to be at least 2 grids long, so the angle of the ramp when set up is around 45 degrees. Anything steeper and it'll be tricky for piggies to get up and down.

found this cage ... reply

............... hi I agree the ramp is not safe for a piggy . I am sorry to say. The ramp is to narrow, there are spaces between the stairs, no bannister......

The person who sells these ramps should NOT be selling these.

When ever you decide to purchase any toy/cage etc you MUST think of the health and safety issue for your beloved piggy, if your guniea pig fell off the ramp and you went to the vets.......... you would have some explaining to do and the Vet would not be pleased.

Please Please think as i do before buying toys /cages.

All my 3 boys have a 5ft long x 3 ft wide cage each the cages were very expnesive
, however worth every penny as they have there hay/soft beds/toys etc......

Sorry to ramble on , where guinea pigs are concerned think of their saftey first.......
Thank you...........................

In my opinion it just looks a bit too small. The bottom needs to be 3x2 minimum but 4x2 would be better. As Strawberry said the ramp needs to be 2 ramps, it's easy to do.

I'm not the worlds most patient person but I managed to build my own. Walmart usually sell the grids in either mesh or a thin canvas type. It would be so much cheaper too.

I imagine that everything comes with the cage but you would still have to assemble it yourself. :)

oh wow walmart has the grids too?

and i could get the side stuff for cheaper than buying a complete kit?
