I Have 2 Male Piggies Can I Bond Them?

SoIi have 2 male pigs and one is a baby and the other is a 1 1/2 year old can I bond them the lady at the store said if I bond them now once the baby turns 6 months i have to separate them is this true?

Hi you can bond them. In fact a baby going with a slightly older piggy is better as there is less hormones. The sales lady is partly right as at six months the baby will get into the hormone stage and they may fight or bicker. However, with boars this could happen at any stage throughout their life and if it did happen you'd have to separate if they started biting but apart from that you'd leave them to sort it out themselves. Usually of they do fall out you can always reintroduce them on neutral ground later on. there is a wonderful thread that goes into further detail on bonding boars which I would link if I knew how but if you type it in I'm sure it'll come up.
