You need to see a vet ASAP as eye problems can quickly deteriorate If you have a Vet4Pets nearby they have usually have normal opening hours on Saturday and Sunday when Pets@Home is open if they are above or behind the shop. Then you don't have to pay exhorbitant out of hours vets fees.
Eyes are very delicate so I agree to get to the vet asap. A lot of the time prompt action and some eye drops will resolve the problem pretty quickly and without much cost. If it is left then it is likely to deteriorate to the extent of needing the eye removing
Definitely needs a vet trip as a matter of priority, please let us know how you get on. The good news that if eye injuries are caught early they are very often completely cured.
