Guinea pigs should never be allowed to die!
My neighbour came round earlier this evening to let us know the last of her 5 piggies has died!
I feel so sad for her, so I've decided they should be immortal animals haha x)

It is painful and sad when critters and people we love die. But death is Nature's way of making room for new generations; immortality would be terrible. If no guinea pig anywhere ever died, there would be no room for you or me, they would overrun the earth. Because there would be so many, they would all be sick and starving and miserable but would still continue to reproduce.
It would be nice if they lived a little longer though.
I'm sorry for her loss.
