We went to GBH rescue in Beckenham yesterday and spent ages holding all the piggies (including a little baby :smitten: ) Jackie was lovely and very patient whilst my (four!) children took turns cuddling all the piggies.
We fell in love with a pink eyed white English crested boar and a girl who is , erm , a mixed breed I think! Crested again I believe and a mixture of brown and white.
The boy was already called Lindt (like the white chocolate!) and came from people who showed, but he has a "defect" so they didn't want to keep him. He is very friendly and confident though and had been well cared for.
The girl we have named Kinder (as in surprise!) and she was gievn up by a person that had just accumulated lots of animals and wanted "rid" of some of them
She is very friendly too but a little more nervous.
They hid for most of the first few hours but have been having a nose around since and are both using the upper level without any encouragement, which I am pleased about
Here they are . .
